What is SPEEDMANAGE?

SPEEDMANAGE is a rental collection platform powered by SPEEDHOME. Our service allows tenants to pay their rent and other related fees electronically, over the Internet.

What are the benefits of using SPEEDMANAGE service?

  • The Internet is increasingly the place of choice for businesses to reach and connect people. Prospective Renters are turning to the Internet now more than ever to fulfill their living needs.
How do the transactions occur?
  • 1. The tenants submit their payments in the Pay Online section using FPX or can make Cash Deposit and upload transactions receipts.
  • 2. The payment is deposited into the SPEEDMANAGE bank account.
  • 3. SPEEDMANAGE makes a transaction to landlords' bank accounts within 3-5 working days.
Who can use SPEEDMANAGE and where?

Landlords and tenants of residential properties all over Malaysia can use the rental collection service.

How many properties are allowed?

As many as the landlord needs.

Pricing: What does SPEEDMANAGE cost?

For landlords and tenants the service is completely free.

How much is the cost for the transaction?

Free. FPX transactions are absorbed by SPEEDHOME.

Do you receive a confirmation that a payment has been submitted?

For each payment submitted on SPEEDMANAGE, the Payer and Payee will receive a confirmation email with the transaction id if a valid email address has been entered in the profiles for the users.

How do I know the system is secure?

Your sensitive information remains private and accessible only to you through your OTP protected mobile number account. Your bank details are secure and confidential. We use SSL encryption and secure protocols such as HTTPS.

What is the difference between Tenant and Landlord when I am logged into my profile?

We allow users to manage Tenants Properties and Landlords Properties within the same profile so you don't have to create separate profiles for a property you are the tenant of and a property you manage. One example of this would be a parent being able to submit rent payments to their college student's property landlord and manage the payments they receive for their own rental property.

The Tenants Properties section lists the properties you have added to your profile as a renter of the property; this allows you to submit payments to SPEEDMANAGE.

The Landlords Properties section lists the properties you have added so that you can manage the payments you receive from the current tenants. These are properties you manage or own.

Why is SPEEDMANAGE for free?

Speedmanage is a premium service, which would normally be charged. However, since landlords and tenants are very important to us and we want to make renting as convenient as possible, we offer the service free of charge

Can I pay rent online if my landlord isn’t using SPEEDMANAGE?

Unfortunately not. If you are interested in using SPEEDMANAGE to pay your rent, you're welcome to tell your landlord about SPEEDMANAGE rental collection service.

What are the registration steps for a tenant?

1. Go to the SPEEDMANAGE Home Page and click on the Sign Up button.

2. Enter the mobile number and click on Login | Register button.

3. Enter the OTP that was sent to the mobile number that was entered before click on Verify

4. Enter Legal Name, Email address and click on the Register button.

5. Navigate to the dashboard page.

Do tenants have to create a profile?

Yes, Renters are required to create a profile on SPEEDMANAGE in order to submit a Rental Payment. Creating a profile allows the Renter to easily submit Rental Payments without having to re-enter their account information for each payment.

How do tenants pay the rent?

Tenants can pay rent via online banking using FPX gateway, or can make cash deposits and upload the receipt to SPEEDMANAGE. Tenants can also pay via direct debit, to pay via direct debit tenants have to set up a mandate on SPEEDMANAGE.

Can I set up auto-payments, so my rent is paid automatically every month?

Yes. Simply click on the property you are renting, click on the tab auto-debit and set up e-mandate for automatic payments.

Can I view all my previous payments?

Yes. Just log into your account on speedmanage.com and click on the property you are renting. Here you’ll be able to see all your past payments.

What happens if tenants don't pay the rent?

SPEEDMANAGE will send email reminders to tenants who do not pay rent on time. We have automated emails and Whatsapp messages that will be sent to tenants. We even build automated calls to chase tenants. If nothing helps then we have humans to call and chase tenants, however this is reserved for the Free+ members (share and onboard 3 other landlords).

Once tenants paid the rent and our team has verified the payment, we will transfer the rent within 3-5 working days.

Can landlords use SPEEDMANAGE for any type of property?

Any residential property can be used with SPEEDMANAGE.

Can landlords use different bank accounts for each property?

SPEEDMANAGE allows each property to use different bank accounts to receive payments with, allowing to manage multiple properties with different bank accounts if necessary.
